At the heart of this budget PC build is a Gigabyte motherboard. Gigabyte brand motherboards have been found to be one of the most Mac OS X operating system friendly. This particular hackintosh build was done using the Gigabyte motherboard model EP45-UD3L (Intel P45 chipset).
