Welcome to MacOSXonPC.com

You’ve probably heard from someone or read somewhere on the internet that it is possible to install Apple’s MAC OS X operating system on regular PC hardware (Gigabyte, Asus Motherboard etc) or Acer, HP, Toshiba laptop.  Well, those rumors are not lies… the answer is that it is possible and the reason is mainly due to the fact that when Apple decided to start using the Intel processor (x86) instead of it’s own PowerPC (PPC) processor it opened its doors to have MAC OS X to be installed regular PC hardware.

MacOSXonPC.com believes that people shouldn't pay such high prices for Apple computer hardware with such low hardware specifications, when you are able to take advantage of the stability and ease of use of the Mac OS X operating system with affordable and powerful PC hardware. Ask yourself, if you can build a powerful Quad Core Intel CPU computer with 4 GB of RAM, and powerful NVidia Graphics running Mac OS X Leopard natively for less than $500 why wouldn't you? A similar specification from Apple for a Mac Pro desktop starts at $2499 on the Apple website.
